How long have you been in business?
We have been providing professional commercial floor care to retail stores in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2000. During this time we have provided service to more than 100 clients and more than 1,500 stores.
Our proactive approach to floor care has earned us the number 1 spot on the Safeway vendor scorecard for 3 years running—since the inception of the score card. As a result our services are showcased at the Safeway flagship stores which are used for corporate site visits.
Who are your typical clients?
We specialize in big box retail stores and grocery stores, i.e., businesses that typically have a floor area greater than 10,000 square feet (but we service smaller stores as well).
Do you offer any IT or FM competitive advantage?
Yes. We utilize the Corrigo cloud-based facility management and work order system which seamlessly manages all billing and vendor relations. We provide this as a value-added service to any client that wants it.
Are you fully insured?
Yes. We carry full general liability insurance. We will also be happy to indemnify your company.
Are you bonded?
Yes. Our clients have complete assurance that their property is safeguarded while our staff is on premise. We can also obtain larger janitorial bonds for any commercial projects that require it. We will be happy to indemnify your company.
Contact us for more details on surety and janitorial bonds.
Do you bid on projects, e.g., a large strip and seal job?
Yes. We bid on a wide variety of commercial projects including:
1) Large commercial facility strip and seal projects.
2) Large commercial facility pressure wash projects.
3) Complete store detailing for soft-openings and grand-openings.
4) One time cleaning services for corporate meetings, conferences, gala events, etc.
Send us your RFP or contact us for more information. We will provide you with a free consultation and project estimate.
Can you "Fast-Track" a job for quick turnaround time?
Yes. Our supervisors know how to manage projects and they excel at multitasking and time management. For example, on a large job we will divide up the work and responsibilities to maximize efficiency. Each custodian knows what they have to do and when they have to do it and they have all the materials and equipment when and where they need it. Working in this manner we have completed very large commercial projects in short time frames, e.g. we finished a 25,000 square foot project in less than 24 hours.
Do you offer service plans?
Yes. We offer a full range of service plans that can be customized to meet the client’s specific needs. Please refer to the Service Plan FAQ.
Do you screen your employees?
Yes. We conduct background checks on all employees and promote a drug-free workplace.
What is your employee turnover like?
Very low. We value our employees and consider them one of our greatest assets. We give all our employees the proper materials, training, and equipment so that they can and will succeed on the job. As a result, our employees feel valued and strive to do the best possible job for our clients.
What type of employee training program do you have?
Every employee is different. Some employees are highly experienced and have been in the industry for many years. Some employees are brand new and need to learn the job from the ground up.
Every employee however goes through orientation and an intensive, 3-day, hands-on training program with Premier Academy. During this period they are taught the best cleaning techniques, instructed in the use of company equipment, and educated as to safety procedures and guidelines.
After the training period we pair up each employee with a supervisor as part of a mentoring program so that they continue to grow personally and professionally while on the job. We have found that this combination of training and mentoring significantly reduces common mistakes and accidents such as slip and falls.
We set up our employees to succeed!
What type of equipment do you use?
Floor Care
We have modern, state-of-the-art, professional floor care equipment. We keep our equipment well maintained according to the manufacturer guidelines. We proudly use:
- Diversey Johnson ProSpeed® Floor Finish Applicator System
- Diversey Johnson TrailBlazer® Finish Applicator System
These systems produce consistent, high quality floor finishes and greatly reduce wax buildup, finish waste, water waste, and odors.
What type of pressure washing equipment do you use?
Pressure Washing
Our state-of-the-art pressure washing system is EPA compliant and powerful enough to handle any commercial pressure washing job. We can recover and recycle all our wash water down to the 20 micron level. Our system is in full compliance with the Clean Water Act as well as all county, state, and federal regulations governing the discharge of non-storm water.

What if your equipment breaks down on the job?
We keep our equipment very well maintained, but if that were to happen we have backup equipment in our company warehouse. Your job will still be completed on time.
What type of cleaning products do you use?
We use biodegradable, eco-friendly cleaning products to minimize impact on the environment and to those persons with chemical sensitivity.
For some processes, however, such as floor stripping and sealing, stronger solutions are needed. In such cases we dilute the mixture as much as possible and our staff is trained in the proper application and use to minimize exposure and risk.
What about water use?
At Premier Floor Care we are highly aware that California is in a severe drought and that water conservation is mandatory. All our equipment and cleaning procedures are designed to conserve water. Our staff is proficient at tackling tough cleaning problems with minimal water consumption or no water use at all.
Unlike some other floor care companies, our equipment is modern, well maintained, and uses much less water than older, poorly maintained equipment. In fact, our pressure washing system recovers and recycles more than 98% of its wash water and removes particulates down to the 20 micron level! Ask the other guys if they can do that.
